Stream Flow Gauges
You can view real-time stream flow gauge data for the major rivers and creeks that flow through Ketchum city limits. Stream flow and stream height data collected by the U.S. Geological Survey for the three monitoring stations closest to Ketchum can be viewed online at the following websites hosted and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey:
Additionally, the National Weather Service provides advanced hydrologic prediction of the Big Wood River flows based on observed stream gauge data and weather forecasts for the Hailey monitoring station. The following website displays recent stream stage and flow data and predictions with relation to flood stage heights. The Hailey monitoring site is located on the upstream side of the W. Bullion Street bridge that crosses the Big Wood River.
