Policies & Guidance Documents

The Ketchum Arts Commission is a commission of the city and is guided by policies and documents adopted by the Ketchum City Council.

  • Memorials & Donations, Resolution Number 11-010, was passed in 2011 and outlines policies and procedures for accepting donated works of art for the City's collection.
  • Ketchum's Percent For Art Ordinance 1115 was updated in 2014 to reflect an increase from 1.33% to 5% of the cost of certain public works projects to be dedicated to public art. Ketchum's Percent For Art Ordinance is unique in that the percentage of funding garnered from public works projects is among the highest in the nation.
  • Ordinance 1168 (amended in 2017) in Title 4 of the city's municipal code established the Ketchum Arts Commission in 2007.

The Ketchum Arts Commission meets monthly (except in December) from September through June. The months of July and August are our members' busiest time and regular KAC meetings do not occur during these months.
